Use case and performance
Designed for gamers and remote professionals, the Boom Mic delivers clear and accurate voice reproduction without latency or compression artifacts associated with wireless solutions. The omnidirectional pickup captures speech evenly from all angles, producing a natural and intelligible sound profile for team communication, streaming, and video calls.
Due to the nature of omnidirectional microphones, the Boom Mic performs best in quiet environments or when paired with software-based noise reduction. This design choice prioritizes vocal realism and clarity over aggressive isolation.
Compatibility
The Boom Mic is compatible with headphones featuring dual mono 3.5 mm inputs and with devices using a CTIA 3.5 mm jack. An included Y-adapter allows use with separate headphone and microphone inputs.
